2021 Summer leagues forming now!

We are now taking sign ups for the 2021 Summer DPSTL leagues which will start the week of June 7, 2021. We are offering our regular Mens and womens singles leagues at South 94 Bistro on Tuesday nights and our Elite Premier League on Wednesday nights at Concord Bowl. We also are offering our regular play any where any time traveling leagues for Elite (Open), Advanced and Intermediate levels.

New for Summer 2021 is Singles leagues will now be offered at Larry J’s on Weber Road in St. Louis County. Leagues will be offered of Tuesday or Wednesday night (or both) depending on the interest. Larry’s recently added 2 new dart boards and has 6 available for use in his beautiful steel tip dart area.

Also new this summer, South 94 Bistro is offering doubles leagues on Thursday night. We will have an Open division (no cap) and/or a 100 cap division depending on interest. The Bistro is adding $50 per team up to $500 towards the payout (total for both divisions if there ends up being 2 or all the money in one division if there is only one). The format will be determined by board availability and the players themselves once we get teams registered.

And lastly DPSTL is hosting a special invite only league for some of the top players in the area. The league will take place at Concord Bowl and matches will be live streamed on the DPSTL YouTube channel. Players will play on select days (probably 4-5 Saturday afternoons but possibly other nights). Our goal is to show case the top players in the area.

Registration for the DPSTL Fall leagues is open! In addition to taking registration for our normal singles leagues, new this Fall is doubles leagues – both open and mixed.

All doubles leagues will play the following format:

  •  Singles (2) – Cricket (Best of 3), each player plays – home team determines match up (if mixed male vs. male and female vs. female)
  • Doubles – Cricket (Best of 3)
  • Singles (2) – 501 OI/DO (Best of 5), play same player you played in first singles
  • Doubles – Cricket (Best of 3)
  •  Singles (2) – 01 OI/DO (Best of 5), must play player you did not play in the first two singles (if mixed, still male vs. male and female vs. female)
  • Doubles – 501 OI/DO (Best of 7)

Mixed or Open Doubles matches will have 9 wins/points available per match. Teams will receive 1 point for each win. Tiebreaker will be head to head matches, then total head to head points.

Dart Madness Tour Starts March 16!

The first tour stop in the Dart Madness Championship tour is Saturday March 16 at 1 pm at Arnold Bowl. This is your first chance to earn points to get invited to the $4000 Championship tournament in November. Each tour stop consist of a long format singles qualifier where you earn points to get invited to the championship and a best of 5 blind draw. Entry fee is $30 which gets you into both the qualifier and the blind draw.

Both events will be carried by Dart Connect and matches can be followed on DCTV! You can check-in online now here – Dart Madness Tour Event #1!

Tour stop #1 – Saturday March 16 at Arnold Bowl

Qualifier – Register by 1:00 pm – Starts at 1:30 pm

Format – single elimination – all 501 open in/double out

  •  Top 64/32 (Best of 5)
  •  Top 16/8 (Best of 7)  – Top 8 pays $30 with minimum 48 players
  •  Top 4 (Best of 9) – $50 or $60 (w/min. 32) or $90 (w/min. 48)
  •  Finals (Best of 11) – 2nd pays $100 or $120 (w/min. 32) or $180 (w/min. 48), 1st pays $200 or $240 (w/min. 32) or $300 (w/min. 48)

Blind Draw – Open to all even if you didn’t play qualifier ($10 entry for those not in the qualifier) – register by 4:30 pm – Starts approximately at 5:00 pm or after qualifier

Format – single elimination – Best of 5 (501/Crk/Crk/501/Choice)

Here are approximate payouts for blind draw based on minimum number of qualifiers, these are subject to change based on participation. All entry fees collected from players who didn’t play the qualifier will be added to the payouts:

  •  minimum 24 qualifier players

$300 total payout (plus added players entry $$$)
1st – $200                  2nd – $100

  •  minimum 32 qualifier players

$470 total payout (plus added players entry $$$)
1st – $230                  2nd – $120            Top 4 – $60

  • minimum 48 qualifier players

$620 total payout (plus added players entry $$$)
1st – $300                  2nd – $160            Top 4 – $80

The first DPSTL League is under way!

The first Dart Players St. Louis steel tip long format league is underway! These eight players are playing a Wed night best of 5 sets long format steel tip league rotating between Arnold Bowl and Dylans Sports Bar and Grill every Wednesday.

Registration is now Open!

You can now register for the inaugural DPSTL leagues! The following four leagues are available:

  1. Tuesday night, 7:30 PM Start time, Premier League format (need 1 more to start)
  2. Tuesday night, 7:30 PM Start time, South 94 Bistro in house league (need 2 more to start)
  3. Wednesday night, 7:30 PM Start time, Standard Set format (starts next Wednesday Sept. 26 – if you want in contact Dave immediately!)
  4. Sunday afternoon, 2:30 PM Start time, Adult/Youth Doubles league – NON ALCOHOL league

To register send an email to Dave Madison and let him know which night you want to play. Registration stays open for one week after we get a minimum of 6 players/teams. More information can be found on our Registration page.
